Great place to learn about local history.
Wonderful local heritage museum detailing the social and working history of the town of Wymondham. Great exhibits and exhibitions with a lovely tea room too.
An excellent museum of Wymondham history. Good quiz for children. Reasonable cafeteria/tea shop.. with restricted offerings.
It was a very interesting visit. We were given a talk about the history of the place, a virtual reality presentation about Robert Kett and there was even a treasure hunt for the kids, they had to find all the toy mice and got a reward at the end of they found then all. Mine didn't find all of them but they said add they'd got so close they could choose a prize anyway, for taking part. It's not a place to go for a whole day but if you've got an hour or two spare I'd recommend it.
Absolutely brilliant! Well worth the visit. Great value for money with excellent facilities. Lovely cafe. Good clean bathrooms. So much to see and do, great for all ages.
