Great customer service, very welcoming business - I have been a customer of Peppermint Dental Centre for years and have always received good service. Just had a tooth removed and they were fantastic.
Had a tooth removed by dr Haddock on referral from my dentist as they could not carry out the procedure due to previous issues with another extraction. Receptionist/nurse was friendly and helpful. Went through to the dentist chair very swiftly had a pleasant chat wirh the dentist and nurses while waiting for the numbing injection to work,the dentist then romoved my tooth which happened soo fast i said "wow" expecting to be there for alot longer. If i were closer i would definitely join the practice. I cant recommend them more highly for their professionalism and cleanliness of their practice. Thanks.
Fantastic job by Kate.I am a nervous patient when it comes to going to the dentist so when I was told I had to have a tooth removed I was petrified and thinking of all excuses under the sun to get out of it but nothing would work, to top it off they where so nice and reassuring which made it hard for me to say no, even though I was aware it was for my own dental health. On the day of the extraction via sedation my mouth was like a sandpit and I was unable to drink anything so even though I was nervous I was keen to get it over with. On entering the practice the reception was half empty and the reception team where really good to me which felt nice. I think if it hadnt have been for my escort I probably would have sneaked out at this point but I couldnt as I need him to give me a lift home. Within 15 minutes I was called through to see Kate ( the dentist ) who is a fantastic and reassuring lady. Unlike most dentists she doesnt speak down to you she speaks with you which is really good and if there is any questions at any time she is more than willing to answer them. I got comfy on the chair and then had my blood pressure checked with my blood oxygen level. I then signed a disclaimer form and within 5 minutes she said I may feel I small scratch as the needle goes in. I then remembered trying to tell her she did that better than the bloody donation people but it never came out right so I asked her if she had started the sedation and she confirmed yes. The next thing I remember is waking up in the recovery room. All fears and worries gone and feeling slightly drowsy and thirsty. I have a slight discomfort where my tooth used to be but no pain or major blood loss like 20 years ago in the RAF. I was a bit wobbly on my way out and understand why we need an escort however once home I laid on the couch dozed off and woke up at 3am went to bed then woke up at 10am. I cant begin to thank Kate and her team for helping me through what was a really nervous and anxious time for me. If anyone has a fear of the dentist please try Peppermint as they where FANTASTIC with me.
No communication!I have tried calling Peppermint Dental several times & sent emails over the last few weeks with no answer from either. I have been in constant pain and waiting for surgery for nearly 3 months now. Just the pure lack of communication or acknowledgement shows that you really dont care about your patients that are desperate for your help.Jonathan Turpin
Brilliant. My phobic adult son had been in considerable pain for months. Having persuaded him to visit this surgery he was confident to have three wisdom teeth removed under anaesthetic. Very grateful to nurses and dentist x
