A wonderful find. Log burner with a pan of mulled wine sitting on top, the aroma filled the pub. Great staff and customers, so friendly. Wished we could've stayed longer.
A marvelous place, steeped in history. Part of it burned down in the great fire of Wymondham, but the rest survived to give us a truly real ale and good atmosphere experience! You'd live this pub!
Lovely, my food was delicious and all my friends said the same. My meal was Vegan sausage and Mash and it was a huge portion including braised red Cabbage, cauliflower, carrots and delicious gravy. It was really good. Lovely private room and drinks were nice too. We will be back.
Fantastic friends get together here yesterday. Wonderful roast dinner. Top side of beef with all the trimmings. The gravy made it. Amazing! Really cozy in the upstairs room. Made us all feel very Christmassy
A beautiful old pub with great homemade food. There is not a straight wall in the building and it's decorated wonderfully. The staff are very welcoming. I would definitely recommend visiting.
