Lovely people great service good home cooked meals it's a must
Cheap food , good but nothing out of the ordinary. Didn't offer a roast before Xmas ! Seems a fair selection of ales and has a nice garden out the back.

No problem with 18 of us pitching up after a boxing day walk. They even reopened the kitchen so that we could share a few bowls of chips.
Used to be better & wasn't impressed with the food. It was cheap but I've had much better for the money. Good beer, lively local & it is what it is. Food was edible but I wouldn't bother again. Good for a drink & a bowl of cheesy chops or something.
