Serviced apartments. Clean tidy and not badly priced.
We reserved and were given the Pensforth Suite for two nights. On first impressions all seemed well, nice decor to the room. However, we checked out of the hotel early incredibly sleep deprived and requested a refund for the following reasons. Please bear in mind we like self catering and have stayed in a lot of places and never felt the need to check out early before so it was that bad:1. Terrible sewage back pipe smell to the room2. Floodlights illuminating front of building shone straight into room all night disturbing sleep3. Batteries needed changing in tv remote so couldn't even change channel or volume on first night. Concierge said they would tell maintenance but nothing happened4. Handle to inner bathroom comes off so you get stuck inside5. Room right by front door so was woken up on a few occasions by late night guests, some of who had forgotten code so lots of noise.6. All in all felt the telephone service was not good, every time i rang to get some kind of resolution it was like they had forgotten all previous calls which was very frustrating. I called to say i was checking out at 10am and it took them until 5pm to finally get in contact via email, and not even the decency to give us a phone call to apologise or a full refund.7.Tiny bed - not comfortable for two adults to sleep in.Luckily we had family nearby to put us up otherwise it would have completely ruined a nice weekend away.
Chic glam rooms. Very clean and well equiped
Great location .Room very dark and only a small window which mafe it very uncomfortablt in heatwave. No room cleaning so our 4 night stay was little uncomfortable.
